I closed the refridgerator door, louder than I intended, puzzled. It couldn't have been even a half hour since Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben had left.
And then it hit me: It had been a distraction. The earthquakes, getting the team to go after them, leaving me alone and defenseless. My blood ran cold as I realized what was going on. I couldn't figure out why some high-and-mighty super bad guy wanted me... B
